What should you know about under skin spots?

Deep, tender spots may occur when oil, dead skin cells, and inflammation affect a follicle. Acne can include these lesions, while folliculitis may produce similar bumps around hairs. Hormonal Acne often follows a recurring pattern around the jaw or lower face. Rash-like bumps around the mouth can fit perioral dermatitis, and shaving can trigger razor bumps.
