Spots on stretch marks: what to know

Stretch marks are areas where the skin’s structure and colour differ from nearby skin. A new tan, dryness, rubbing, follicle blockage, or inflammation can make individual dots or patches more visible across the lines. Itching, scale, tenderness, crusting, or fluid suggests an active surface problem rather than colour alone.
