What should you know about rhino conjunctivitis?

The nose and the surface of the eye can react at the same time because they are exposed to the same irritants and allergens. Sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, itchy eyes, watering, and redness can occur in an allergic pattern. A viral illness may cause red eyes alongside cold symptoms, and discharge may become noticeable. Conjunctivitis has several causes, so eye appearance and the rest of the illness matter.

Eye Discharge that is thick or persistent, significant Red Eye, or Light Sensitivity changes the level of concern. Avoid assuming that every red or sticky eye needs antibiotics; treatment depends on the cause and examination findings.

Do not rub your eyes. Wash hands often, use a clean cool compress, and avoid sharing towels, pillows, cosmetics, or eye drops.
