What should you know about polydipsia cure?

Short answer
Polydipsia, or excessive thirst, does not have one universal cure; treatment addresses the cause and restores safe fluid balance.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

Why excessive thirst happens
Thirst can follow sweating, vomiting, diarrhoea, salty food, dry mouth or too little fluid. It may also accompany Dehydration, Heat Exhaustion, high blood sugar, kidney problems or a medicine effect. Drinking repeatedly without relief, especially with frequent urination, needs assessment rather than simply increasing fluids.
A clinician may ask about fluid intake, urine changes, weight, medicines and heat exposure. Blood and urine checks can help assess glucose, salts and kidney function. The symptom alone does not identify diabetes or another condition.
What to do next
Sip appropriate fluids and avoid relying on very sweet drinks to quench thirst. If heat, illness or fluid loss is involved, move to a cool place and seek advice about oral rehydration. Do not force large volumes of water, particularly if you have kidney, heart or liver disease.
Arrange a medical review if thirst persists, returns without an obvious reason, or comes with frequent urination, tiredness or blurred vision. Treatment may involve managing Prediabetes, Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes or Chronic Kidney Disease. IV Fluid Therapy is reserved for selected cases when oral fluids are unsuitable or insufficient.
When to seek care
Seek urgent help for confusion, fainting, severe weakness, inability to keep fluids down, very little urine, rapid breathing, severe abdominal pain or marked drowsiness. After heat exposure, confusion or collapse can signal a serious heat illness and needs emergency care.
