Pertussis and homeopathic remedies

Pertussis is a bacterial infection that can cause prolonged coughing bouts, vomiting and breathing difficulty. A product labelled homeopathic may be marketed for cough symptoms, but it has not been established as a substitute for diagnosis, infection control or prescribed treatment. Delaying assessment can allow transmission to continue, particularly around infants.
