Perioral dermatitis in the nose crease: what to know

The creases beside the nose can collect sweat, oil, mucus, and skincare residue. Friction from tissues or masks may add to the discomfort. Perioral dermatitis in this area often looks like small red or skin-coloured bumps with dryness, scaling, burning, or itch, but a crease rash can also have other causes.
