What should you know about PDO threads procedure?

A clinician cleans and numbs the treatment area, then guides fine threads through the planned layer of tissue. Some threads are designed to provide mild support; others are placed to encourage gradual collagen remodeling as the material breaks down. The result is usually a subtle change in contour or skin texture rather than a surgical lift. Suitability depends on skin quality, laxity, anatomy, medical history, and the result you want.

Temporary tenderness, swelling, bruising, tightness, or small areas of unevenness can occur. Infection, thread visibility or migration, prolonged inflammation, and contour changes are less common but should be discussed before treatment.

Before treatment, share medicines, supplements, allergies, previous procedures, active skin problems, and any tendency to form prominent scars. Follow the clinician's instructions about medicines that may increase bruising.
