Missing a second period after miscarriage

A second missed period after miscarriage may reflect delayed ovulation, a new pregnancy, retained pregnancy tissue, or another hormonal change. Recovery varies, so the timing of bleeding alone cannot confirm that healing is complete or that a complication is present.
