What should you know about microneedling 11 lines?

The term 11 lines usually describes vertical creases between the eyebrows. A microneedling pen makes controlled punctures in the skin, prompting a healing response that can improve surface texture over time. It cannot prevent the brow muscles from contracting, so static creases and movement-related lines may need different discussions.

Redness, warmth, sensitivity, pinpoint bleeding and flaking are possible after treatment. Darker marks can follow inflammation in some skin tones, particularly after sun exposure or aggressive treatment. Melasma or sun-damaged skin may also need a broader plan rather than repeated injury alone.

Tell the clinician about pigment changes, melasma, active acne, eczema, cold sores, recent tanning, medicines and products that affect healing. Avoid treating broken or inflamed skin. Afterward, cleanse gently, use the recommended moisturiser, protect the area from sun and heat, and avoid picking, exfoliating acids and retinoids until advised. Contact the clinic if pain or swelling increases, redness spreads, or the skin becomes weepy, crusted, blistered or purulent. Fever needs prompt assessment. Seek emergency help for breathing difficulty or rapidly developing facial swelling. Have persistent darkening, lightening or a worsening rash reviewed before further treatment.

Ask whether the lines are mainly caused by movement or surface change, what needle depth is planned, how pigment risk will be reduced, and whether a muscle-targeting or energy-based option should be considered.
