Mesotherapy for stretch marks: what to know

Stretch marks, also called striae distensae, form when skin stretches and its supporting tissue changes. They may look red, purple, pink, brown, or lighter than surrounding skin, and their texture can be slightly indented. Mesotherapy generally refers to injecting a selected mixture into the middle layers of skin. The mixture is not a single standard formula, so the proposed ingredients and their purpose matter.
