What should you know about a Life Plus ECG machine?

Small adhesive electrodes are placed on the chest and sometimes the limbs. The machine traces electrical signals over a short period, allowing a clinician to assess heart rate, rhythm and the timing of electrical activity. The recording is a snapshot: an intermittent rhythm problem may not appear during the test, and an unusual trace needs clinical interpretation rather than a device display alone.

Wear clothing that allows access to the chest and avoid applying creams or oils where electrodes will be placed. Remain still and breathe normally while the trace is recorded.
