Why wetting may return
When blood glucose is high, the kidneys may pass extra glucose and water into the urine. This can cause frequent urination, strong thirst, tiredness, and new or returning bedwetting in a child who was previously dry. Weight loss, blurred vision, or changes in mood may also occur. Bedwetting has other causes, so it does not by itself establish type 1 diabetes.
