GERD and tingling hands

GERD commonly causes upper digestive or throat symptoms such as burning, regurgitation, sour taste, cough, or swallowing discomfort. Tingling may result from pressure on a nerve, altered breathing during anxiety, circulation problems, diabetes, vitamin deficiency, medication effects, or a neurological condition. Call emergency services for sudden tingling or numbness with weakness on one side, facial drooping, speech trouble, confusion, severe headache, or loss of coordination. Urgent help is also needed for chest pressure with breathlessness, sweating, faintness, or pain spreading to the arm or jaw.
