What should you know about Genosys LED light therapy?

Short answer
Genosys LED light therapy uses selected wavelengths of non-ultraviolet light to support targeted skin care under professional guidance.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

How LED treatment is used
An LED panel delivers light without needles or resurfacing the skin. Blue light may be selected for acne-related concerns, while red or near-infrared settings may be chosen for a different skin-support goal. A clinician should decide the wavelength, exposure plan, and whether light is suitable alongside other care. LED therapy is supportive and does not replace assessment of persistent or severe acne.
The session is generally a low-contact procedure, but some people notice warmth, temporary redness, dryness, eye discomfort, or sensitivity. Protective eyewear may be needed depending on the device and treatment area.
Preparing safely
Tell the clinician about light sensitivity, medicines that increase photosensitivity, seizure disorders triggered by light, eye conditions, and active skin irritation. Ask whether your goal is Acne or individual Pimples and whether a LED Phototherapy Panel is being used.
Arrive with clean skin if instructed, follow the planned schedule, and use gentle products afterward. Do not stare into the LEDs, combine treatment with unapproved photosensitising products, or treat irritated skin without advice. Keep prescribed acne care in the plan unless your clinician changes it.
When to get help
Stop the session and seek advice for significant eye pain, vision change, blistering, severe burning, marked swelling, or a rash that continues to spread. Urgent help is appropriate for breathing difficulty or facial swelling.
Questions to ask
Ask which wavelength is intended, how the device will protect your eyes, whether your medicines affect suitability, how improvement will be judged, and when another acne treatment is needed.

Questions people ask
Can LED light therapy cure every type of acne?
No. It may support selected acne concerns, while persistent, painful, or scarring acne needs a broader clinical plan.
Is LED light therapy the same as a laser?
No. LED treatment uses panel-delivered light and does not work by the same mechanism as a laser.
