What should you know about dog keloid?

Keloids form when scar tissue continues to build after skin has healed. They can follow cuts, burns, piercings, injections, surgery, or inflamed spots such as acne. The surface may be smooth, shiny, darker or lighter than nearby skin, and the growth can extend past the wound edge.
