What should you know about cloudy urine symptom?

Urine may look cloudy because it is concentrated, because minerals or mucus are present, or because discharge has entered the sample. A urinary tract infection can present with cloudy urine alongside burning, urgency, frequent urination, pelvic discomfort, or a strong smell. A kidney infection can cause fever and pain in the side or back, often with nausea or marked illness. Cloudy urine may also be noticed after sex or around menstrual bleeding. Record the colour, smell, timing, and any changes in urination. Drink fluids regularly unless you have been given a fluid limit, and avoid self-treating with antibiotics.
