The urethra and vagina are close together, so vaginal fluids, lubricant, or a small amount of spotting may mix with a urine sample after sex. Cloudiness that is only seen once and disappears may have this explanation. Dehydration can make urine more concentrated as well.

Sex may also be followed by a Urinary Tract Infection, which can cause burning, urgency, frequent urination, or pressure low in the abdomen. Fever, chills, nausea, or pain in the back or side can occur when infection reaches the kidneys, known as a Kidney Infection. These symptoms need prompt attention.
