What should you know about bronchial asthma types?

Clinicians may describe asthma as allergic when symptoms connect with allergens, or non-allergic when that link is not clear. Some people notice symptoms mainly with exercise, viral infections, work exposures or certain seasons. Another description reflects how often symptoms occur and how much they affect sleep and activity. These categories can overlap and may change over time.
