Tell the clinician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have liver disease, take medicines that affect the nervous system, or are treating a child. Seek advice for worsening swelling, breathing difficulty, severe dizziness, or a widespread blistering reaction.

Improvement and itch can follow different timelines, especially with scabies, so follow-up helps distinguish ongoing irritation from active infestation. Avoid repeating doses or combining antiparasitic products without medical advice. If symptoms continue, a clinician may reassess the diagnosis, contacts, application technique, or need for another treatment.
