During consultation, discuss active acne, eczema, cold sores, keloid scarring, medications, recent tanning, and any implanted electronic device. Follow the clinic's instructions about cleansing and products before treatment.

Afterward, expect temporary redness, warmth, swelling, sensitivity, or pinpoint marks. Use only the recommended gentle cleanser and barrier-supporting products, protect treated skin from sunlight, and avoid picking, vigorous rubbing, and unapproved exfoliants until the surface has settled.
