When is sacrocolpopexy recommended for uterine prolapse?

Uterine prolapse means the uterus has moved downward because pelvic support has weakened. During sacrocolpopexy, a surgeon supports the vagina and cervix or uterus with surgical material anchored toward the sacrum.
