What to expect from prescription antiperspirant for sweaty feet

The product temporarily reduces sweat reaching the surface of the soles. This can make feet feel less wet and may reduce slipping or moisture-related softening, but it does not change every cause of sweating. The skin may become dry, itchy, red, or sore, particularly if the product spreads onto sensitive areas or is used more often than prescribed.

Apply a thin layer at the recommended time to washed, fully dry soles. Dry carefully between the toes and let the product settle before putting on socks. Rotate footwear, change damp socks, and avoid applying over cuts, blisters, or a rash.
