Your team may check temperature, pulse, abdominal tenderness, vaginal discharge and blood tests. Improvement can include less fever and pain, but tiredness may linger. Antibiotics can cause nausea, loose stools or a rash; report new symptoms rather than stopping treatment on your own.

Take each dose at the scheduled time and complete the course unless your prescriber changes it. Rest, drink fluids if you can, and use approved pain relief.
