Waldenstrom macroglobulinaemia is a blood cancer involving abnormal lymphoplasmacytic cells and an excess of an antibody called IgM. Treatment is usually considered when the disease causes symptoms, affects blood flow, or harms organs; some people can be monitored before medicines are needed.
