What do pimples feel like with fungal acne?

Most people with Fungal Acne notice pimples that are small, similar in size, itchy, and clustered around hair follicles. The bumps may feel rough or irritated rather than like one large painful lump. They can become more noticeable with heat, sweating, occlusive products, or friction, and they may appear on the forehead, chest, back, or hairline.

Pimples is a common presentation of Fungal Acne. Itch and a uniform group of bumps can point toward follicle inflammation involving Malassezia, but appearance alone cannot confirm it.
