What Does Itchy Scalp Feel Like With Head Lice?

Itchy Scalp is a common presentation of Head Lice. The itch is an inflammatory response to bites on the scalp, rather than proof that an insect is moving through the hair. It can be strongest behind the ears and along the nape of the neck. Scratching may leave small sore spots, scabs, or irritated skin.
