What are the symptoms of perioral dermatitis?

The rash often forms clusters of tiny bumps around the mouth while leaving a narrow strip of skin beside the lip relatively clear. It may also extend to the creases beside the nose or around the eyes. Skin can feel tight, rough, sensitive, warm, or mildly sore. Unlike classic acne, the bumps may be accompanied by flaky skin and usually do not include blackheads.
