What it means
Low blood-cell production can cause tiredness, breathlessness, infections, fever, bruising or bleeding. Some people have no symptoms and discover abnormal counts during a blood test. These symptoms have many possible causes and cannot identify this condition alone.

Assessment may include an examination and blood tests, with marrow testing if results suggest a production problem.
