What are the alternatives to proton therapy?

Ask where the radiation would enter the body, which organs are close to the target, how many visits are expected, and whether treatment is combined with surgery or medicines. During or after radiotherapy, contact the treatment team for worsening pain, repeated vomiting, inability to drink, new shortness of breath, fever, unusual bleeding, or a new neurological symptom.
