What should you know about Vivier chemical peel?

During a peel, the clinician applies a carefully chosen solution to loosen surface cells and stimulate renewal. The formula, contact time, and depth should match the concern and treatment area. Peels may be discussed for uneven texture, acne-related congestion, sun spots, or some pigment concerns, but active infection, open skin, or a history of strong reactions can change the plan.

Afterward, the skin may feel warm, tight, dry, or sensitive and may flake as it recovers. Deeper treatment can require more supervised aftercare. A peel is not the same as applying an exfoliating cleanser or acid at home.

Tell the clinician about recent sun exposure, cold sores, eczema, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous pigment changes, and products such as retinoids or exfoliating acids.
