Vaporub for Nail Fungus

Nail fungus can make a nail thick, brittle, crumbly, or yellowish, but trauma, psoriasis, bacterial change, and other problems can look similar. Discoloured Nails should therefore be assessed when the diagnosis is uncertain.

Nail infections can spread between nails or coexist with Athlete’s Foot. The visible nail may remain altered while healthy nail grows, so appearance alone does not show whether infection is active.

Keep nails short and dry, do not share clippers, and avoid picking beneath the nail. Wear breathable footwear and treat coexisting Athlete’s Foot if advised.

A clinician can recommend Topical Antifungal Treatment or Oral Antifungal Treatment depending on the extent, nail involvement, medicines, and general health. Laser Treatment For Nail Fungus and Nail Surgery are not interchangeable with diagnosis or routine nail care.

Arrange review for a thickening, dark streak, painful nail, surrounding redness, drainage, or change that does not grow out. Seek earlier advice if diabetes, poor circulation, or reduced immunity makes foot problems harder to manage.
