What fatigue may mean
A urinary infection may cause feeling unwell, especially when fever, pain, poor sleep, or reduced drinking are present. Extreme fatigue with back or side pain, chills, nausea, or vomiting raises concern for a more significant infection and needs clinical assessment. Fatigue without urinary symptoms can have many explanations, including Anaemia, Chronic Kidney Disease, COVID-19, Coeliac Disease, Burnout, or alcohol-related problems.
