What should you know about unusual symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis?

Rheumatoid arthritis often affects joints, but the immune inflammation can also involve other tissues. A person may notice unusual tiredness, a low-grade fever, reduced appetite, unintended weight change, or a general feeling of illness.
