What should you know about unlimited warts removal?

Warts are growths caused by a virus that affects the outer skin. They may occur on hands, feet, or other areas, and new lesions can appear after treatment. A large number of warts, a wart that changes, bleeding, or a lesion in an unusual location deserves examination because not every rough skin growth is a wart.

Treatment may include freezing with cryotherapy, a prescribed immune-response medicine such as imiquimod for selected lesions, or a procedure that destroys or removes tissue. The clinician may treat a sample or the most troublesome lesions first, then review how the skin responds.

Arrange a dermatology assessment before trying to remove many lesions yourself. Do not cut, burn, or repeatedly pick at them; these actions can injure skin and spread virus to nearby areas. Keep feet and hands clean, avoid sharing towels or nail tools, and cover treated skin as directed. Ask which method suits the location and whether several visits may be needed.
