Seek emergency care for chest pain, severe breathlessness, fainting, new weakness on one side, trouble speaking, confusion or a sudden severe headache. Arrange prompt medical review for repeatedly high readings, marked dizziness, a very slow or fast heartbeat, or worsening swelling. A reading by itself does not explain the cause, so bring your log and medicine list.
