Record when symptoms began, how they change, and whether they follow each injection. Keep the injection schedule provided by your clinician and mention medicines, pregnancy possibility, new medical conditions, or worsening mood at an appointment. Do not stop or repeat hormonal contraception without advice if pregnancy prevention matters to you. Seek urgent care for severe chest pain, sudden breathlessness, coughing blood, one-sided leg swelling, sudden weakness, trouble speaking, or a severe new headache. Contact a clinician promptly for very heavy or prolonged bleeding, severe abdominal pain, fainting, a possible pregnancy, marked depression, or an injection site that becomes increasingly red, hot, swollen, or draining.
