Can stretch marks be removed?

Stretch marks are a form of scar-like change in the deeper skin, so creams and procedures cannot promise complete removal. Many become less noticeable as they mature. If their appearance bothers you, treatment can target texture, colour, or both, with the plan matched to the individual marks.

A stretch mark may become lighter, darker, flatter, or smoother without disappearing. Newer marks can respond differently from older pale lines. The result also depends on skin tone, the body area, the depth of the change, and how your skin heals after irritation. A diagnosis matters before choosing a procedure.
