What should you know about stage four glioma?

Glioma begins in cells within the brain or nearby nervous-system tissue. The grade describes how the tumour cells behave under the microscope; a high-grade glioma can grow into surrounding brain tissue and may be difficult to remove completely. The tumour’s position matters because it can affect movement, speech, vision, memory or seizure control.

Get emergency help for a first seizure, a seizure that does not stop, sudden weakness on one side, new trouble speaking, severe drowsiness, repeated vomiting or a rapidly worsening headache.
