Record breathlessness, cough, hoarse voice, pain, headaches, weakness, appetite, and energy. Supportive and palliative care can be introduced at any point to help with breathing comfort, pain, sleep, nutrition, emotional strain, and family needs.

Contact the oncology team promptly for worsening breathlessness, coughing blood, fever, new or increasing pain, inability to eat or drink, or treatment side effects that interfere with daily activities. What subtype of lung cancer is present? Has genomic tumour profiling been completed? Where has the cancer spread, and which area needs attention first? What is the goal of each treatment? Could immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or a targeted medicine help? What symptoms should prompt an urgent call?
