A quiet, unchanged tag may be watched if it causes no practical problem. Avoid tying thread around it or using acids and home freezing kits. These approaches can injure normal skin, create infection, and make later assessment harder.

Reduce rubbing with comfortable clothing, take care when shaving, and clean any superficial scratch with gentle water. Consider an appointment if the growth catches on fabric, bleeds repeatedly, becomes sore, or bothers you cosmetically.
