Skin Tag on the Corner of the Mouth: What to Know

Skin tags are soft growths that can project from the skin. At the mouth corner, saliva, lip movement, food, shaving and rubbing can repeatedly irritate the area. A bump here may also be a cold sore, inflamed split, wart, cyst or another lesion, so a visual diagnosis from a photograph may not be enough.
