Skin tag on the bikini line: what to know

A typical skin tag is soft and flesh-coloured, with a smooth surface and a narrow attachment, although irritation can make it red or swollen. The bikini line is exposed to friction, sweat, and waxing or shaving. Genital warts, moles, cysts, and inflamed follicles may resemble a tag, so location and appearance do not establish a diagnosis.
