Skin rash after dengue fever: what should you know?

Dengue can cause a widespread, blotchy rash during the illness or recovery. It may appear as fever settles and can be accompanied by itching, tiredness, headache, muscle aches, or joint pain. The rash’s colour and pattern can vary, and a photograph can help a clinician compare changes over time.
