Ringworm behind the ear

Moisture, sweat and friction can collect in the crease behind the ear. Ringworm may appear as a scaly border, irritation or a patch that slowly enlarges. Gently wash the skin, pat it fully dry, and keep hair, headphones and mask straps from rubbing the patch. Use a separate towel and launder clothing, pillowcases and towels regularly.
