What should you know about right sided flank pain radiating to groin?

Pain that begins in the side or back and moves toward the lower abdomen or groin is a pattern often associated with a Kidney Stone, particularly when it comes in intense waves. Nausea, sweating, blood in the urine, or difficulty urinating may occur. A Kidney Infection may present with flank pain and fever, chills, or feeling unwell, while a Urinary Tract Infection may cause burning and frequent urination.
