What should you know about random tiny itchy bumps on skin?

Bumps that follow a new soap, detergent, cosmetic, fabric, or plant exposure may fit Contact Dermatitis. Dry, cracked, rough areas can occur with Asteatotic Eczema, while itchy inflamed patches in people with a sensitive-skin or allergy pattern can fit Atopic Dermatitis. Raised welts that come and go point toward Hives. Itch between the fingers, around the wrists, waist, or genital area, especially when others at home itch, raises concern for Scabies.
