Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite, an injectable material that can provide support beneath the skin and stimulate a tissue response. Along the jaw, a clinician may use it to refine a soft contour, improve selected areas of volume loss or create a clearer transition between the lower face and neck.

The result depends on facial proportions, skin laxity, existing volume and the shape of the underlying jaw. Radiesse is not a treatment for every cause of a blurred jawline, and it cannot replace assessment of dental, bone or medical concerns. Swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary unevenness can follow injections.

Choose a qualified medical injector who understands facial vessels, nerves and the structures around the jaw.
