Microdermabrasion is a surface exfoliation procedure that uses a professional device to remove loose outer cells. It may temporarily make rough or dull skin feel smoother. It does not remove deep scars, active infection, or every cause of uneven colour. Before treatment, disclose active rashes, cold sores, recent tanning, medicines that increase sensitivity, and any tendency to form raised scars. Arrive with clean skin and follow the clinic's instructions. Afterward, use a gentle cleanser, bland moisturiser, and sunscreen.
