Heat increases sweating, and damp skin covered by tight clothing can become occluded and irritated. Small, prickly, itchy bumps may fit heat rash, while uniform bumps around hairs may fit folliculitis. Friction from sportswear, backpacks, or skin folds can add to the problem.
