Periods not stopping after 15 days

A long bleed can result from hormonal changes, fibroids, polyps, medication effects, pregnancy-related causes, or problems affecting blood clotting. Conditions that alter ovarian hormone activity, including polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause, or premature ovarian insufficiency, may also change bleeding patterns. The symptom does not identify one diagnosis on its own.
